Meet Dr. Willem-Martin Gerber
Dr. Willem-Martin Gerber is a distinguished ophthalmologist & eye surgeon. He holds a prestigious medical background and a keen specialization in various eye surgeries. Graduating from the University of Stellenbosch in the year 2006, he cultivated his passion for ophthalmology. This took place during his tenure at Port Elizabeth Hospital Complex.
With accolades including a medical degree (MB. Ch.B), a Diploma in Ophthalmology (Dip. Ophth) and not to mention, a Fellowship of the College of Ophthalmologists in South Africa (FCOphth), he further solidified his expertise and skills with a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology (MMed Ophth) from Stellenbosch University in 2016.
Driven by a profound interest in cornea and lens-based refractive surgeries, glaucoma and medical retina, he brings unparalleled dedication to the vibrant Eastern Cape community, hailing from the scenic King William’s Town.
